Andy Bialk is a 2-time Emmy Award winner, 4-time Annie Award-Nominated Artist with 25+ years in the Animation Industry. His influential designs can be seen in some of the most memorable TV and Feature Films, including the 2019 Academy Award winner Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and 2014 The LEGO Movie “It became a critical and commercial success, grossing $468.1 million worldwide against its $60-65 million budget”, The LEGO movie 2: The Second Part, The Emoji Movie, The SpongeBob Movie, The Book Of Life, Madagascar 2, How To Train Your Dragon, Shrek 4, and Megamind. In Television, the Mickey Mouse shorts, Shimmer & Shine, Dragons: Riders of Berk, The Ricky Gervais cartoon, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Samurai Jack, The Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory among others. He has given lectures at DreamWorks Feature Animation, Cal Arts, Art Center College of Design, Concept Design Academy in Pasadena and Loyola Marymount University where he earned a BA in Studio Arts.

After "Spider-Verse", Andy acted as Creative Director at Illumination Ent. focusing his talents in their Theme Parks Division on the new Secret Life of Pets "Off The Leash!" ride now at Universal Studios Hollywood. Soon after, he joined Paramount Animation on their first Animated Musical, “Under The Boardwalk” as Character Art Director and then stepped in as Art Director/Creative Lead at Wild Canary Animation on their Animation Test & Storybook for Lucasfilm & Disney Jr’s new hit preschool series “Young Jedi Adventures” and also helping with Character Designs on season1.

Andy is currently working with ShadowMachine and Nick Jr. in Development on 2 confidential projects. He is also teaching 2 Character Design classes at the California Institue of the Arts as well as particpant for Graduation Reviews. He loves skateboarding, cycling, and lives in Portland, OR with his wife, 2 daughters, 2 dogs & 2 cats.
